Physical Assessment Of the Musculoskeletal Spine

Physical Assessment of the Musculoskeletal Spine is a is a 3 hour educational event for Registered Nurses (RN’s), Physician Assistant’s (PA’s) and Nurse Practitioner’s (NP’s) caring for children and adults with a variety of spinal disorders.  Upon completion of this course each participant will receive three (3) CE credits for attendance. 
Course Objective’s Include:

  • An overview of spine anatomy and the musculoskeletal system
  • Physical assessment of the musculoskeletal system including motor and sensory examination
  • Identification of abnormalities in the physical examination
  • Common spinal abnormalities: symptoms, findings, treatment approaches
