2. Discuss the history and evolution of the treatment of spinal disorders
3. Identify the five most common spinal disorders
4. Identify essential components of the history and physical exam for identifying spine disorders
5. Identify the five most common disorders on radiographic imaging:  X-ray, MRI, CT
6. Identify non-operative treatment options for the five common spinal disorders discussed
7. Identify operative treatment options in the setting of spinal disorders, patient risks/benefits
8. Explain the role of communication and barriers of effective communication
11. Identify three outcomes for nursing intervention
12. Describe the future direction of the Nurse’s/ allied health role in the care of spine patients
