Billing Manager Commack

SpineSearch is actively seeking an experienced Billing Manager to join a growing spine group located in Smithtown, New York.

Requirements of the Billing Manager:

• At least 5 years of billing manager experience
• At least 5 years of medical billing experience
• Experience in orthopedic spine preferred
• Experience with coding, CPC preferred

Responsibilities of the Billing Manager:

• Leads all department functions
• Manage, supervise, and train all staff for billing, coding, and authorizations
• Coordinates and performs the insurance billing functions
• Coordinates the proper application of patient, insurance, and other payments
• Coordinates the coding functions of the practice
• Responsible for training, evaluating, and initiating disciplinary action for all employees supervised
• Coordinates and performs insurance follow-up procedures
• Prepares weekly and monthly reports on third-party billings, accounts pending diagnosis, and late charges
• Provide periodic reports to executive management
