SpineSearch is currently seeking Medical Assistants to join a fast growing pain management group in Manhattan. Accepting experienced and/or new graduate MA applicants.

Requirements of the Medical Assistant:

• High School Diploma
• Medical Assistant certificate from nationally accredited program
• Must have pain management or ortho experience
• Preferably OR/Fluro experience

Responsibilities of the Medical Assistant:

• Answering phones
• Greeting patients
• Data entry of patient’s demographics
• Scheduling appointments
• Filling out insurance forms
• Taking medical history
• Recording vitals
• Preparing patients for examination
• Assist the physician in examination
• Explain the procedure to the patient
• Collect and test specimens
• Keep exam rooms clean and tidy
