We are a well-established New York-based orthopedic group expanding our services in our West Orange, NJ office. Our practice is dedicated to delivering comprehensive, patient-centered musculoskeletal care by integrating physical medicine, rehabilitation, and orthopedic expertise. We are seeking an Experienced Physiatrist to join our growing team and provide high-quality, non-surgical musculoskeletal and rehabilitative care to our patients.
Position Summary:
The Physiatrist will play a crucial role in diagnosing and treating patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal conditions, orthopedic injuries, and post-surgical rehabilitation needs. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in physical medicine and rehabilitation, pain management, and non-surgical orthopedics. This position offers flexibility, with opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules.
Duties and Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including history-taking, physical examinations, and diagnostic assessments.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans, focusing on non-surgical interventions for pain relief and functional restoration.

Provide interventional pain management services, such as ultrasound-guided injections, nerve blocks, and regenerative medicine therapies.

Collaborate with orthopedic surgeons, physical therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care and rehabilitation outcomes.

Oversee and guide physical therapy and rehabilitation programs tailored to patient needs.

Educate patients and families about their conditions, treatment options, and strategies for pain management and recovery.

Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation.

Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions and contribute to patient management strategies.

Offer telemedicine consultations as needed to expand patient accessibility.
Qualifications:

Board-certified or board-eligible Physiatrist with a valid New Jersey medical license.

Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical medicine, rehabilitation, or musculoskeletal care.

Strong expertise in non-surgical orthopedic care, pain management, and rehabilitation techniques.

Experience in interventional procedures, such as joint injections and regenerative medicine (preferred).

Excellent teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary setting.

Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMR) and telemedicine platforms.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while providing exceptional patient-centered care.
