Surgical Coordinator White Plains

SpineSearch is currently seeking an experienced Surgical Coordinator to join a growing neurosurgery group located in White Plains, New York.

Requirements of the Surgical Coordinator:

• High School Diploma
• At least 3 years of surgical coordinating experience
• At least 3 years of experience in neurosurgery or orthopedics

Responsibilities of the Surgical Coordinator:

• Schedule all surgeries and pre-operative tests
• Pre-certify all major exams
• Obtain authorizations for all surgical procedures
• Act as a liaison between the patients and physicians
• Prepare patients for their operations
• Schedules the doctors' calendar and day to day operations of the office
• Offers cross coverage to other staff members as needed
