Director of Orthopedic Service Line

SpineSearch is partnering with a leading health system to recruit a Senior Director of Orthopedic Services to provide strategic and operational leadership for a high-profile orthopedic service line. This highly visible role partners closely with physician and executive leadership to drive clinical operations, practice performance, and service line growth within a complex healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead strategy, operations, and performance of orthopedic physician practices

• Partner with physician and executive leadership on growth, efficiency, and care delivery initiatives

• Oversee budgeting, financial performance, and KPI tracking

• Support physician recruitment, onboarding, and practice development

• Serve as a liaison across hospital operations, perioperative services, and ancillary departments

• Drive market expansion, outreach, and new program development

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred (MBA, MHA, MPH, or related)

• 5–10+ years of progressive healthcare leadership experience in a hospital or health system

• Proven success managing complex clinical operations and physician practices

• Strong strategic, financial, and relationship-building skills
