Operations Director- Garden City, NY

Spine Search is seeking a experienced Director of Operations candidate to assist an Ambulatory Surgery Center in Nassau County, NY

Key Responsibilities:

1. • Human Resources Management:

     • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to attract, retain, and develop qualified staff members.
     • Oversee recruitment, hiring, and onboarding processes for clinical and administrative personnel.
     • Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions in accordance with ASC policies and applicable laws.
     • Coordinate staff training and professional development programs to enhance skills and promote career growth.

   • Physician Credentialing and Reappointments:

     • Lead the credentialing process for all physicians and advanced practice providers, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and accreditation requirements.
     • Collaborate with medical staff leadership to review and evaluate credentialing applications, privileging requests, and performance data.
     • Maintain accurate and up-to-date credentialing files and databases, including licensure, certifications, and malpractice insurance documentation.
     • Facilitate the reappointment process for medical staff members, conducting periodic reviews of clinical competence and professional conduct.

   • Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

     • Monitor and ensure compliance with state and federal regulations, accreditation standards, and payer requirements related to HR practices and physician credentialing.
     • Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate risks and promote a culture of compliance within the ASC.
     • Coordinate audits and inspections related to HR and credentialing functions, preparing documentation and responding to inquiries as needed.

   • Strategic Planning and Operations Management:

     • Collaborate with executive leadership to develop strategic goals and objectives for the ASC, aligning HR and credentialing initiatives with organizational priorities.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree (Masters degree preferred)
• 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare operations management 
• Strong leadership skills 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills 
• Ability to work with a team and oversee the daily functions
