Neurologist-West Orange, NJ

Spine Search is currently seeking multiple Neurologists to fill roles to join a leading medical center in West Orange, NJ.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Conduct comprehensive neurological evaluations, including patient history review, physical examinations, and interpretation of diagnostic tests such as MRI, CT scans, and electroencephalograms (EEG).
2. Diagnose and manage neurological disorders such as epilepsy, stroke, multiple sclerosis, Parkinson's disease, Alzheimer's disease, neuropathies, and headaches.
3. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific condition, incorporating medication management, lifestyle modifications, physical therapy, occupational therapy, and other appropriate interventions.
4. Monitor disease progression, treatment response, and potential adverse effects of medications, adjusting treatment plans as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
5. Provide patient education on neurological conditions, treatment options, medication adherence, and symptom management strategies.
6. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including neurosurgeons, neuroradiologists, neuropsychologists, and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care for patients with complex neurological needs.
7. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

• Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
• Completion of a Neurology residency program.
• Board certification or eligibility in Neurology.
• Licensed in NJ or eligible for a NJ licensure
• Strong clinical skills, diagnostic acumen, and evidence-based practice.
• Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care approach.
