Neurosurgeon — Kankakee County, IL

SpineSearch is seeking a General Neurosurgeon for an opportunity in Kankakee County, Illinois.

Opportunity details:

• General Neurosurgeon role
• Spine-focused practice
• Will take a fellow
• Located approximately one hour outside of Chicago
• Established neurosurgery program
• Previous physician volume noted at 500+ cases annually
• Level II Trauma Center
• Call is approximately 8 days per month
• Includes 1 weekend per month
• Call days include lighter clinic schedules
• Typical starting structure: 4 clinic days / 1 OR day, with ability to grow OR time as volume increases
• Dedicated team of 2 experienced APPs
• APPs assist with follow-up visits and select OR support
• 24/7 anesthesia coverage
• Robotics available
• Advanced technology includes intraoperative CT, Medtronic navigation, augmented reality technology, brand-new Siemens biplane system, and select endovascular capabilities

Compensation / benefits details provided:

• Transition to production-based compensation thereafter
• Recruitment package may include sign-on bonus, loan repayment, training stipend, relocation assistance, and CME allowance

Candidate profile:

• Board Eligible or Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Open to new graduates or experienced physicians
• Interest in general neurosurgery with spine experience preferred
