Neurosurgeon (Ongoing)- Multiple Locations


Spine Search is seeking to fill multiple positions for a Neurosurgeon in the tri-state area. 

New grads are encouraged to apply! 

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Perform surgical procedures to treat neurological conditions such as brain tumors, spinal cord injuries, cerebral aneurysms, and degenerative spine disorders.
  2. Conduct pre-operative evaluations, including patient assessments, diagnostic tests interpretation, and treatment planning.
  3. Collaborate with neurologists, radiologists, oncologists, and other specialists to develop multidisciplinary treatment plans for complex cases.
  4. Provide post-operative care, including monitoring patients in the intensive care unit, managing complications, and facilitating rehabilitation.
  5. Participate in clinical research, academic teaching, and continuing education to stay abreast of advancements in neurosurgery.
  6. Educate patients and their families about treatment options, surgical risks, and post-operative expectations.
  7. Maintain accurate medical records, adhere to ethical and legal standards, and ensure patient confidentiality.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a neurosurgery residency program, typically lasting 6-7 years.
  • Board certification or eligibility in neurosurgery.
  • State medical licensure and/or board certification.
  • Demonstrated surgical skills, clinical competence, and decision-making abilities.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
