Non-Interventional Physiatrist- CT


Spine Search is seeking to fill multiple openings in the greater Hartford area of Connecticut looking for Non-Interventional Physiatrists.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Evaluate and diagnose musculoskeletal, neuromuscular, and pain-related conditions through patient assessments, medical history review, and diagnostic tests interpretation.
  2. Develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each patient's specific needs, emphasizing non-surgical interventions to improve function, reduce pain, and enhance quality of life.
  3. Prescribe medications, including analgesics, muscle relaxants, anti-inflammatory drugs, and neuropathic agents, while monitoring for potential side effects and drug interactions.
  4. Coordinate care with physical therapists, occupational therapists, speech-language pathologists, and other rehabilitation professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
  5. Provide patient education on self-management strategies, adaptive techniques, assistive devices, and home exercise programs to promote independence and long-term wellness.
  6. Collaborate with other healthcare providers, including orthopedists, neurologists, rheumatologists, and pain specialists, to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients with complex medical needs.
  7. Document patient encounters, treatment plans, and outcomes accurately and in compliance with regulatory standards.

Qualifications:

  • Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
  • Completion of a Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation residency program.
  • Board certification or eligibility in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
  • CT licensure and/or board certification.
  • Strong clinical skills, diagnostic acumen, and evidence-based practice.
  • Excellent communication, empathy, and patient-centered care approach.
